Mink breeders and followers can apply for grants for e.g. consulting, development and innovation processes, procurement of equipment and materials as well as competence development related to business transformation or entrepreneurship in the wake of the closure of the Danish mink industry in 2020.

In the assessment of the applications, it weighs positively if the company's conversion contributes to green conversion or innovation.
The pool will be implemented in application rounds in 2021 (first application round) and 2022 (second application round).

The second application round for the conversion pool opened on 1 March and is open until 22 April 2022.
The application framework is DKK 24,3 million.

In the first application round for grants from the "Pool for the implementation of grants for conversion for mink breeders and follow-up professions, etc." South Jutland was the part of the country where the most money was allocated to mink breeders who wanted to establish a new business.

If you have questions about the conversion pool, you can contact Per Rask Jensen at Erhvervshus Sydjylland at prj@ehsyd.dk
