There is a great demand for these funds, so you need to be very quick to apply,
if you have to reach it before the pool closes!

Right now, there is an opportunity for small and medium-sized companies to apply for grants for a number of activities that can support the export preparation work in your company.

Grants can be applied for the following activities that are necessary to launch a new or existing product / service in a new market:

  • Certifications that are necessary in relation to launching in a new market
    Here you can get 25% in subsidy (the subsidy can amount to a maximum of DKK 50.000).
  • Internal project salary for employees preparing to launch in a new market
  • Here you can get 50% in subsidy (the subsidy can amount to a maximum of DKK 250.000).
  • Purchase of external advice that helps with preparation for launch in a new market
    Here you can get 50% in subsidy (the subsidy can amount to a maximum of DKK 250.000).
  • Competence development of employees, eg courses on language and cultural knowledge
    Here you can get 100% in subsidy (the subsidy can amount to a maximum of DKK 50.000).
  • Exhibition costs - purchase of stand, construction, accommodation, etc. - in connection with the launch of a new market
    Here you can get 50% in subsidy (the subsidy can amount to a maximum of DKK 200.000).

You can apply for one or more of the 5 grant options.

You can apply online from 1 March 2022 - the award of grants is made after scoring based on established criteria.

The total pool is 90 million. DKK and it is administered by the inter-municipal business houses with funds from the EU.

There can not subsidies are sought for activities that already relate to ongoing exports.

Prerequisites for participating

The company must have a desire to start exporting or to enter into one new market, and have:

  • a Danish CVR no.
  • 249 employees
  • a turnover of a maximum of DKK 50 million. € and / or a balance of max 43 mill. €
    (max for either revenue or balance must be exceeded, but not both at the same time)
  • received less than EUR 200.000 in state aid in the last 3 financial years

In addition, the company must have:

  • a realistic potential in a new export market
  • organizational and financial opportunities to realize the potential
