Information meeting about LAG funds and development opportunities

Filskov Kro is run by Mathilde and Bo, who have worked strategically to develop the inn as a professional meeting point for businesses, local stakeholders and visitors since the takeover in 2023. With respect for the historical setting, classic inn management is combined with modern hospitality and ongoing investments in facilities and business development.

As part of this development, the inn has received DKK 125.000 in LAG support in 2025 to establish a new conference room, which will strengthen the inn's position as a meeting place and create new business opportunities.

On the day, Mathilde and Bo will give a practical presentation about their experiences with the application process, including how they have worked strategically with their project and used the LAG funds in the development of Filskov Kro.

In addition, the newly renovated conference room is presented Green Living Room, which will be ready in May 2026, and which is designed to meet today's demands for professional meeting and conference facilities.

Presentation on LAG funds

The event will be attended by Janne Kruse, coordinator of LAG Vejen-Billund, who will provide a professional introduction to the support scheme and your options as an applicant.

LAG Vejen-Billund annually distributes approximately DKK 2,0 million to projects in the rural districts of Billund and Vejen Municipalities.

The funds are targeted at initiatives that contribute to:

  • business development and growth
  • creation and retention of jobs
  • strengthening local collaborations and communities

You will gain insight into:

  • criteria for support and target groups
  • application process and project requirements
  • concrete cases – including the project at Filskov Kro

The next application deadline is expected in early 2027, and the meeting thus provides a solid decision-making basis for companies and stakeholders considering applying.
