Tourism in 2026: Future guests are demanding – and the future is closer than we think

Holidays are no longer just holidays. Today's – and tomorrow's – guests are looking for experiences that awaken all the senses and create memories for life. This applies throughout Billund Municipality.

For this event, we focus on the guests of the future and take a closer look at how we can together develop and strengthen our holiday and experience product. We build on what we already do well, and are inspired by new ideas, concepts and products that will ensure that Billund Municipality continues to be strong in the future – both for current and future guests.

The event will take place at Hotel LEGOLAND®, where Alice Monberg, International Sales Manager at LEGOLAND Billund Resort, will give us an exciting insight into the future and international marketing activities of LEGOLAND Billund Resort. The resort represents the collaboration between the five major attractions, Billund Airport and the Municipalities of Billund, Vejle, Fredericia and Kolding.

In addition, Martin Perregaard-Bitsch, Director of Destination Triangle Area, shares the latest news on current initiatives and the upcoming season's marketing. He also looks back on the results from 2025 and presents expectations for the 2026 season.

Come and learn more about the 2026 season, your guests – and how we can together create even stronger experiences for them.

The event is aimed at those who work in the tourism, adventure, accommodation or restaurant industry, as well as the retail trade in Billund Municipality.
