The green transition is on the agenda everywhere, but how do you best start the process in the individual company?

To help our member companies on their way, Billund Erhverv has established a network around green conversion. The target group for this network is industrial companies in Billund municipality. So far, 10 companies have joined the network, which is free to join.

The first activity in the network has been participation in a series of workshops over 3 half days, where the companies have learned to calculate and prepare their CO2 accounts.

The workshop series was held at Erhvervshus Syd in Vojens over 3 weeks, with homework between each workshop. Precisely knowledge of the company's climate footprint and knowledge of where the company's CO2 emissions come from is a natural place to start the green transition.

The network continues, and will meet again in early December. Here, Jeanette Kristensen from Erhvervshus Syd will inspire with a presentation on how green change can be tackled with financial support from the pool: Green Circular Change (GCO).

GCO is an offer for Danish SMEs in all industries who want to work with green conversion. With the help of an industry-skilled advisor, the companies are given a concrete plan for which green initiatives they should continue to work on. This could be, for example, more sustainable packaging choices, smarter product design, more appropriate handling of the company's waste or something else. After completing the course, companies can apply for grants of up to 30% of investments in machinery / equipment that make the company greener.

If you come from an industrial company and are interested in participating in the network around green conversion, you are welcome to contact Stine Høgholt on 9282 6965 or at sth@billunderhverv.dk

The course is free.
