How much and how little we as companies choose to work with it varies greatly, but one thing is certain: It is there, and it is something we all need to consider at management level. Is our goal to comply with legislation, meet customer demands – both business and consumer, or do we want to make it a central part of the business and our products?

The green agenda CAN be translated into competitive advantages and value for your company. We have therefore allied ourselves with one of the sharpest in the field, Annette Skyt, specializing in Digital & Sustainable Innovation from Force Technology, who on Thursday, February 27, 08.30:11.00 AM – XNUMX:XNUMX AM will give us insight into:

  • The latest tools and methods within sustainable strategy
  • How to identify the initiatives that can make your business more sustainable
  • Insight into how to map your value chain to make it easier to find environmental issues and possible solutions
  • Ideas for how to involve your employees and colleagues in sustainability work
  • Help with how to create concrete action plans based on your new strategy

Annette's primary focus will be on production and industrial companies, but many elements at the strategic and managerial level are general and therefore all business leaders will gain useful knowledge from this for their further work.

At the end of the meeting, we provide the opportunity for personal advice and sparring with experts from, among others, Force Technology, the Danish Technological Institute, the Alexandra Institute, the Danish Advanced Manufacturing Research Center, and others.

Optimization is about the bottom line… and sustainability

We dare to claim that production processes and production lines can be optimized in virtually all companies. The value of optimization can include reduction in energy consumption, better utilization of capacity and resources, less waste and longer service life of tools and machines.

Last week we had a meeting at Modulex, which makes visual communication solutions, together with Helmut Schwartz from the cluster Manufacturing Academy of Denmark, to look at opportunities for optimization and best possible utilization of the company's processes and production. Modulex thinks and acts globally and when reviewing the production line and processes, there was particular attention to digitalization and automation opportunities.

It's about optimization, efficiency and the financial bottom line, but the solutions also speak positively to a sustainability agenda - which is why green transition is a parameter when we talk about the company's competitiveness. The sharper we are on synergies and opportunities to make sustainability a strength in the company, the greater the opportunity to create competitive advantages.
