Labor shortages are at the top of the agenda in virtually all professional groups, and competition is fierce. Getting hold of the young people already during their studies is therefore an important tool to ensure your company the skills you need both now and in the long run.
During the autumn, we at Billund ErhvervsFremme have visited a number of knowledge institutions to become sharper on how we can connect their students to the companies in Billund municipality.
As a result of this, we do i.a. joint visits, where we, together with the relevant contact at the place of education - eg the internship manager - visit relevant and interested companies in Billund municipality.
Most recently, we have been around with associate professor Henning Slavensky from Aarhus University's Herning department.
Henning Slavensky is responsible for educating Stærkstrøms and Svagstrøms engineers, and is currently in the process of finding internships for his students to start up in September.
Among other things. we have carried out an exciting visit to GEV and Scandinavian Avionics, where it seems that we can succeed in creating one or more internships.
