Experiences, glamping, gastronomy, guests, business development and innovation, spiced with incredible local passion and desire for the future. Over the past many weeks, this has formed the framework for part of Billund Erhverv's work.

Together with Kasper Møgelvang from ORANGE elevator, we have been around and developing business with a focus on the tourist of the future.

The concept has been handheld 1: 1 development, where we have taken as our starting point very specific challenges and have found solutions for how we get the future tourist to visit Billund municipality and the many exciting experiences we can offer.

We started the whole process on January 19, 2022, where WOW PARK formed the framework for a well-attended kick-off meeting that pushed the process in motion.

Subsequently, the tourism players could receive 3 hours of business development, which several took advantage of.

The themes of the actors we visited were vastly different; "The next guest and glamping" at B&B Vesterhede, "The tasteful gastronomic dining experience and heath stay" at Hotel Hedemarken and "Unique family history and a world of teddy bears" in beautiful architect-designed surroundings at Teddy Bear Art Museum.

Lis and Henning Kristensen - B & B Vesterhede

Lis and Henning Kristensen from B & B Vesterhede were very happy with the course. "We think it's really nice that we as a small company could get 3 hours of free business development from such skilled and competent people as Kasper and Marianne - it's really good to get eyes from the outside to look at what you do" says Lis, and continues: "And then it has been incredibly inspiring to hear about how WOW PARK has done - we are really looking forward to the drive of others".
